Career: bad (This store will threten you with fireing to get more work out of you! If you want to be treated like you are in a prison camp this is the place for you.); Dress code: not required (Used to have a dress code now its RAG BAG look!); Work conditions: bad (Sexual harassment rampent! You complain about a manager etc you get harassed and accused of stealing!); Management: negative, bad (Management Yell and scream at you all day, your under so much strees on the way to work you cry and count the hours till you can leave.); Colleagues: nice, friendly (Regular associates and some supervisors are very much a family and try and stick together. We are each others only defence agains Store managment. All good workers who are not brown nosers get fired!); Recommendation: no; Schedule: not flexible (If you arnt flexable to them you get fired! You have to live, breath and only exisit for JCP. Family is NOT important as the store manager says.); Team building: good (You form teams not for working but for self preservation!); Trainings: frequently, often (Stupid and irrelavent to actual workers!); Life/Work balance: bad (You are on call 24-7 again you have to LIVE ONLY FOR JCP!); Corporate culture: not developed (Corprate have no idea what they are doing obviously.); Business trips: rare; Company age: new (Old people are always let go!);

Wont even shop here after working here. Dose Ellen know what they are up to in the background. If only she knew how they treat gay employees, older employees and ethnic ones. She wouldn't be their spokes person.Read more / Share
